24mm Olive Green Leather Military G-10 Zulu strap Bronze stitch & hardware Panerai
Up for sale is a new 24mm Handmade Olive Green Leather G-10 Military style, pass through Watch Strap. I can’t call these by the name that’s the acronym for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization due to some BS copyright.
The strap measures ~11" (standard size) and ~1.2 mm thick and features bronze (yes, real bronze!!) hardware.
I hand stitched this strap using bronze waxed polyester thread. The bronze hardware was not given a forced patina, so it’ll age naturally along with your watch.
The leather used for this strap is Badalassi Carlo Waxy. Rocky Mountain leather describes the leather this way:
This veg tan leather is their top grade, it is full grain and has a nice supple feel with a small amount of firmness. This leather has a unique rustic pull-up that adds beautiful depth to the leather and makes for an amazing patina as it ages.
The pull-up effect means that when the strap bends, you’ll see the color lighten, as seen in one of the pics.
This strap was handmade in nearly every way. The strap was creased, and the edges were beveled and burnished. Please note that I only use one loop at the slide through location. My experience is that the extra loop just makes noise and isn't useful.
