22mm OD Green Military Canvas G-10 Zulu pass through strap Stainless Steel Panerai Omega
Up for sale is a new 22mm Handmade Military Canvas G-10 style, pass through Watch Strap. I can’t call these by the name that’s the acronym for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization due to some BS copyright.
I started making these straps because I didn’t see anyone else making this style of strap using military canvas from issued bags.
As you can probably see in the pics, one side of these straps has a little bit of fraying. I make these by folding over the canvas, then stitching the perimeter. So, one half is rolled, and the other half is cut. There will be a small amount of fraying over time, which is something I really like in canvas straps. If you’re not into seeing the little bit of fraying, you can singe the edges as they fray. These straps are robust and unique. They’ll take whatever you can give them.
The strap measures ~11" (standard) and ~1.6 mm thick and features a matte stainless steel hardware. I hand stitched this strap with khaki Tiger thread - the best waxed synthetic thread available.
Please note that I only use one loop at the slide through location. My experience is that the extra loop just makes noise and isn't useful.
