24mm khaki tan brown rolled canvas strap with matching thread
Up for sale is an all handmade and hand stitched rolled canvas strap made from stonewashed khaki tan poly-canvas. Hand stitched with matching khaki/beige thread.
The strap will come with a large floating canvas keeper with my Dos Equis (Double X) stitch on top. I find that for canvas straps, having the stitch on top of the keeper is much more comfortable. Other strap makers make a butt-stitch and have to add a crazy amount of stitching to keep the keeper together.
Another difference on my canvas straps is that I skive (thin) the canvas where it meets the buckle end, on the underside of the strap. Most canvas straps are just cut and glued at that point. I find that skiving the canvas reduces the bulk near the buckle.
The strap measures 24mm, with no taper, 80mm x 127 mm and ~3.5mm thick. Will come with the custom Mott screw-in pre-V style bronze buckle as shown. The first hole is 50mm from the lug end. More holes can be punched upon request.
